Great company in a perfect setting
With the sun setting against the Galle Face Green, the shimmering Indian ocean and the bustle of Colombo city as the backdrop, Cosmopolitan Sri Lanka together with CE LA VI Colombo hosted a soiree celebrating International Women’s Day on March 8.
The evening was paired with exciting pop up stores, an exclusive designer jewellery collection by Trunk, handmade clothing and shoes out of upcycled fabrics by House of Lonali along with perfumes by Exclusive Lines, not forgetting the fun photobooth by Photobooth.lk.
“This year, for International Women’s Day we wanted to celebrate HER in a way that was different to the usual. Often, after a hard week, all we want is an opportunity to take a step back, have a good laugh and network with some incredible women, and this was the perfect setting to do it,” says Shihaam Hassanali, Editor-In-Chief, Cosmopolitan Sri Lanka.
The Cosmopolitan Reward Plus card was also launched at the event by Cosmopolitan Sri Lanka together with CE LA VI as an appreciation of Cosmo’s readership and fans who had been around the magazine since its inception.
CE LA VI’s own ‘Disco Divas’ that followed featured DJs Wendell & Deep and vocalist April Schokman.
