This 30th , come witness the most awaited signature project, “HOTDOG SHOWDOWN 2019” organised for the seventh consecutive year by the Rotaract club of IIT. This year bigger and better from 10 am onwards at Green Path.

HotDog Showdown is the biggest hotdog eating competition in Sri Lanka, tailored for all the passionate foodies roaming the street. Along with the competition, which will be categorized as male and female, there will be various other food stalls, entertainment, mini motor show and celebrity appearances. Entrance will be completely free, so anyone can come and join the fun!
For those interested in taking part, the competition will consist of three rounds, in which you have to eat as fast as you possibly can to finish as many hotdogs within the given time. All rounds are elimination based, so competitors will have to eat fast in order to make sure they make it to the next round. The winners of each category will be entitled to receive exciting prizes. Moreover, the first 100 tickets to be purchased for the competition will receive HotDog showdown merchandise.
HotDog Showdown is recognised as one of the best Public Relations projects by the Rotaract community, which has won numerous awards through the years, including the Gold Award for Most Outstanding Public Relations project at the District Assembly 2018. This year the event has expanded even more, and now we are proud to present the official HDS website, as well as the HDS game (available on the google play store)
HotDog Showdown is well on its way to becoming an annual Colombo tradition, by capturing hearts, minds, and stomach’s alike. So come see us on the 30th of March, at Green Path (next to the Viharamahadevi Park Amphitheatre) and create history once more!
