“Jaltehainjiskeliye”, an evening of songs from the golden years of Hindi film music (the 50’s and the 60’s) will be presented by Sudhakar Rao, a former civil servant and music lover from Bengaluru accompanied by pianist Soundarie David Rodrigo, Indian guitarist Pradeep Rodrigo and musician and sound engineer Neranjan de Silva.

The musical evening presented by the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre will be held on March 28 at 6.30 p.m. at the Swami Vivekananda Cultural  Centre at 16/2, Gregory’s Road,
Colombo 7.

Rao will present the best known numbers of the legendary singers Talat Mehmood and Hemant Kumar, blending with them the musical magic of Soundarie, Pradeep and Neranjan. The recital is free and open to all.
