The placement test conducted by the highly qualified panel of lecturers to understand the level of education and aptitude of every student is based on an English and Mathematic test to determine at which level the student is at. ANC arranges personal tutoring conducted by the faculty to improve on any subjects that students find difficult including English and Mathematics and development courses to help students get fully on board into the university degree programme. ANC offers all these services and more free of charge as part of providing a smooth and supportive transition into the U.S degree programme for every student.
Furthermore, ANC provides psychometric test and regular parent-teacher meetings to assess student performance and personalized career counselling to nurture them along the right track on their academic performance, personal achievements and social activities. Psychology Degree Program

ANC’s Guaranteed Paid Student Internship (GPSI) program
ANC strives to ensure that student learning extends beyond the classroom. Internships are compulsory as part of the academic curriculum encouraging students to gain hands-on experience in their chosen field of study through the Guaranteed Paid Student Internship (GPSI) program, a partnership between ANC and some of the leading brands in Sri Lanka, including MAS Holding, Virtusa, Samsung, DIMO, Hilton, Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts, and Hayley’s.
Psychology students are also encouraged to have hands-on experience in an environment structured to support their learning goals through supervised internships. Past students have interned at a number of places including National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH, Angoda), Sahanaya, Ladies College Special Education Unit, Woman in Need, Mel Medura and Sri Lankan Red Cross.
U.S and Canada Degree Transfer Program
