Trinity College, Maliyadeva Balika Vidyalaya and Rathnavali Balika Vidyalaya wins regional rounds at CA Sri Lanka Business Plan Competition 2019
View(s):Three of the country’s top schools, Trinity College, Maliyadeva Balika Vidyalaya, and Rathnavali Balika Vidyalaya won the Kandy, Kurunegala and Gampaha regional rounds of the CA Sri Lanka Business Plan Competition 2019.
At the Kandy regional round Kingswood College came in second place, while Royal International School was adjudged the runners up at the regional competition in Kurunegala.
The first runner up at the Gampaha regional round was Bandaranayake College, while Gateway College Negombo became the second runner up.
Around 30 schools in total have taken part in the regional rounds, of which six teams that scored the highest aggregate marks will vie for the championship at the grand finale which will be held in early April. The winner at the grand finale will fly to Australia to take part in the BlueShift Case Competition organised by the QUT Business School in May this year.
The strategic partner of the CA Sri Lanka Business Plan Competition is the QUT Business School of the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, while the competition is organised in association with the Sri Lanka and Australia Chamber of Commerce (SLACC).
