MAS Kings and Queens
MAS continued their dominance in Mercantile Table Tennis (TT) when their Men’s and Women’s teams emerged ‘A’ Division Champions at the 62nd Inter Club League TT Tournament 2019 concluded at the S. Thomas’ College Sports Complex last weekend.
MAS Men and Women paddlers defeated Seylan Bank in the respective finals.
A total of 294 Paddlers from 33 Mercantile establishments competed in 135 intense team matches, in a highly competitive tournament of leading Paddlers of the island, representing their respective companies, gave a fine display of high standard of TT.
The champion MAS Men’s ‘A’ team was represented by Nirmala Jayasinghe, Sukitha Wickremanayake and Gimhan Walisundera, and its champion Women’s team was represented by Kalpani Herath, Heshani Wickremasinghe and Upekka Kotinkaduwa.
