The Sports Weekly’ the latest programme of the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) will be aired every Saturday at 7.05 pm on 97.4 and 97.6 frequencies. The purpose of this new programme is to provide up to date Sports information to local and overseas listeners.

Presented by Amitha Abeynaike and Chandana De Silva, this programme is initiated by Daya W. Hiniduma and produced by Sujeewa Priyashanth. SLBC featured veteran coach Nelson Mendis and Sidath Wettimuny in their earlier programmes and the latest to feature is Sri Lanka’s first Test Cricket Captain Bandula Warnapura.
