Shamalsha Dewmi ranks third in All-Island Under-10 Table Tennis
View(s):Shamalsha Dewmi of Holy Cross College Gampaha earned No.3 of the Under-10 All-Island Girls Singles rankings behind players representing Musaeus College Colombo and Sri Devananda, Ambalangoda. She has won several tournaments in the recent past and is the current Rank 1 player of Gampaha District Under-10 Girls Table Tennis. According to the Table Tennis Association she would be taking part Under-12 Tournaments this year which would help her to participate the foreign tournaments as well in future.
Principal of Holy Cross College Gampaha, Rev. Sister Darshika, Teacher-In-Charge of Table Tennis Mrs. Thushara, her coaches Chathun Jonath, Ashan and her mother Sajani Perera and father Dilesh Perera, Managing Director Of Pio Marine Boat company have been Shamalsha’s avid supporters behind this success.
