SLIOP Awads ceremony a huge success
View(s):Sri Lanka Institute of Printing established by an Act of Parliament in 1984 which functions under the Ministry of Industry & Commerce, Resettlement of Protected Displaced Persons, Co-operative Development and Vocational Training & Skills Development held its Awards Ceremony at the BMICH under the distinguished patronage of the Chief Guest Hon: Karunarathna Paranavithana the Deputy Minister, The Vice Chancellor of the University of Colombo Senior Professoer Nayani Melegod and, the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Institute of Printing and the Government Printer Ms Gangani Kalpana Liyanage.
Over 600 Certificate, Diploma, and Advanced Diploma holders received their Certificates and Awards at the Awards Ceremony. The popularly known as SLIOP conducts courses and training programmes to the Printing & Digital Arts Community in Sri Lanka. It has trained over 25000 Printing & Digital Arts Professional to the Industry. Currently it offers the highest qualification to the Printing & Graphic Arts Industry in collaboration with the University of Colombo leading to their MBA programme.
