‘Gindari’ 2 shooting completed
View(s):Shooting of Udayakantha Warnasuriya’s film ‘Gindari 2’ has been completed and it will be ready for release this year.
The film was shot for nearly 45 days in locations around Colombo city. It brings back Paboda Sandeepani, Mahendra Perera, Rodney Warnakula and Richard Manamudali who were there in the original cast. Others who joined the cast are Srinath Maddumage, Chulakshi Ranathunga, Tina Shanel, Saman Hemarathna, Chanchala Warnasuriya, Nilmini Kottegoda, Sarath Kotelawela, Sarath Chandrasiri, Ananda Athukorala, Dilip Rohana, Sujeewa Malmaalarachchige, Suneetha Wimalaweera, Wasantha Vittachchi, Keerthi Ratnayake, Udeni Chandrasiri, Norman Palihawadana and a number of veteran and amateur actors and actresses.
Cinematography is by K. D. Dayananda, and editing and sound designing is to be handled by is Praveen Jayaratne. Art director is Aruna Dias and assistant director is Donald Jayantha. Music direction of ‘Gindari 2’ is by Ananda Perera and make up is by Nalin Premathilake. To the lyrics of Nilar N. Casim, musical melodies are by Nadun Ratnayake. Production manager is Asoka Ariyaratne and special visual effects are by Thilanka de Silva.
