A group of 30 senior cricketers from Wheaton’s Touring Cricket Club, New South Wales, Australia played a friendly limited over match against St. Aloysius College Veteran Cricketers at the Galle International Stadium, depicting the capability of sports to bridge gaps of the society. The Wheaton’s TCC from NSW had made a brave and firm decision to visit Sri Lanka, as they have originally planned, while the team of veterans were thoroughly advised not to tour the Indian Ocean island, following the Easter Sunday terror attacks. The game was treated as a welcome sign by cricket lovers of Galle, who had come to witness a friendly game of cricket.
