Students in Sri Lanka have the privilege of beginning their Monash journey right here at UCL. Students after their O/ Levels can join the Monash University Foundation Year and students after A/ Levels can enrol for the Monash College Diploma of Business which is equivalent to the first year of the degree at the university. Upon completion, they will enter the second year of the degree and opt to major in Business or Commerce at Monash University in Australia or Malaysia. Attractive scholarships of up to 40% are being offered to eligible students based on their outstanding achievements in academic, sport or leadership.
The highly qualified UCL Faculty includes Monash Alumni who have completed PhD/MSc enabling them to offer students a superior learning experience at UCL. Senior Lecturer and Programme Coordinator for the Monash College Diploma Programmes Dr. Devangi Perera for instance, holds a PhD in Economics from Monash University.
