Seven-year-old Sasindu Dinusara from Kerawalapitiya, Wattala, has been receiving treatment for Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia for the past two years at Apeksha Hospital in Maharagama.

His doctor, Sanjeewa Gunasekera, has recommended an immediate bone-marrow transplant to save his life. The surgery needs to be conducted within 12 days at India’s Apollo Hospital.
