Vesak in Hong Kong;
View(s):The Sri Lankan Buddhist Cultural Centre of Hong Kong held their third Vesak celebration in Hong Kong on May 19 at Po Leung Kok Lam Man Chan English Primary School with the support of volunteers under the guidance of Ven. Sumiththa Thera. Everything was done overnight – from the Vesak lanterns to the stupa all handcrafted as Lankans of all walks joined together to celebrate Vesak.
Ven. Walpola Gothama Thera and Ven. Narawelpita Ariyarathna Thera who visited from Sri Lanka and Ven Gnanawimala Thera and Ven. Matale Medhawini Bhikkuni of Hong Kong University were also present.
