‘Space’ : Annual Art Exhibition at Russian Centre
View(s):The Annual Art Exhibition of the Russian School of Art of the Russian Centre in Colombo is now being held at Russian Centre in Colombo till Monday, 10th June.
The inauguration ceremony of the ‘Space’ themed exhibition was held on the 27th of May 2019 with the presence of Anastasia Khokhlova, First Secretary of the Embassy of the Russian Federation and Director of the Russian Centre in Colombo. The 162 students of the Russian School of Art have been guided by Arjuna Jayasinghe and his assistant teachers, Maheshika Fernando and Natalie Hettiarachchi in bringing this exhibition to life.
Participants of the exhibition were awarded with certificates with equal recognition for their contribution.
The walls of the Russian Centre in Colombo are colourfully decorated with the artistic expressions of the young students, showcasing the talents and abilities of students from ethnically diverse communities where all are welcome to drop by and witness the arts and crafts of the little ones.
