Rahul dazzles as BSC clinch U-17 title
View(s):The British School in Colombo (BSC) clinched the Inter-International Schools Under-17 Cricket Tournament when they edged-out Lyceum, Nugegoda by 11 runs in the final worked off at the Shalika Grounds in Narahenpita.
BSC put into bat piled up a formidable 198 for nine from their allotted 40 overs with Rahul Chigullapalli scoring a splendid 114 with the help of five sixes and 10 boundaries.
In reply, Lyceum were dismissed for 187 runs in 37.5 overs with Skipper Kavinda Subasinghe claiming four wickets for 47.
Wicketkeeper batsman Chigullapalli had the satisfaction of winning four special awards for his outstanding contributions with the bat and behind the wickets.

- Lyceum, Nugegoda 187 in 37.5 overs (Gamith Pawan 50, Nisal Hettiarachchi 52, Kavinda Subasinghe 4/47, Vishnu Praveen 2/23).
