“Manaya”, the debut film directed by Anju Dananjaya is ready to be released from July this year.

The film features lesser highlighted traditional martial art form, ‘Angampora’, and the story revolves around a young girl from an upper class family and her selfish and self-oriented brother. The film follows a plot by a group of underworld members to abduct the young girl and there are many dramatic twists and turns following this event.                       The film is played by Upeksha Swarnamali, Wasantha Kumarawila, Pavithra Wickremesinghe, Dilip Manohara, Hemantha Iriyagama, Sumudu Amalka, and many more.

Camera handled by Prasad Devinda Guruge, editor Anura Bandara, make up by Kiran G. Soysa and art director is Kasun Mahawaduge.

Colour mixing by Ananda Bandara and ‘Manaya’ is produced by Roshan Indika Ralapanawa.
