Schools Basketball is back on track
View(s):Schools basketball is back on the track after a lengthy lapse following the unfortunate Easter Sunday attack as the Schools Under-17 ‘A’ Division All-Island Boys’ Basketball Championship 2019 commenced last Friday.
Twenty seven schools teams in eight groups will compete in the preliminary round taking place in multiple venues. Semi-finals and finals are scheduled to be played at the St. Joseph’s College, Colombo courts. The Preliminary Round matches commenced on Friday and will go on till June 24. – Lakshman Ranasinghe

Group ‘B’: Lyceum Intl’ Wattala, Amal Intl’, Zahira Colombo, Gateway Kandy
Group ‘C’: Lyceum Intl’ Nugegoda, St. Anne’s Kurunegala, Wesley
Group ‘D’: Royal Colombo, Maris Stella Negombo, D.S. Senanayake, OKI Intl’
Group ‘E’: S. Thomas’, Dharmasoka Ambalangoda, Lyceum Intl’ Panadura
Group ‘F’: St. Joseph’s Colombo, St. Anthony’s Wattala, St. Benedict’s
Group ‘G’: St. Joseph’s Wattala, Asian Intl’ School, St. Joseph’s Nugegoda, Loyala Kochchikade
