Staff watch cricket match

Some patrons wait outside while staff inside watch an ICC world cup match. This was the scene at around 6.30 pm at a branch of a prominent bank in Colombo last week. While customers complained that they should have been informed by SMS of the early closure of the bank, officials of the bank said adequate notice had been given in newspaper ads on the new closing time(6.00pm) against the earlier closing time of 10 pm.
