British Language Centre Excels at Business World International Awards
View(s):Established in 2007 British Language Centre a leading institute of educating English language professionally both writing and spoken won the gold in small category of the education sector at the recently concluded Business World International Award ceremony held at Hotel Taj in Colombo.
Since its inception, the British Language Centre has become one of the leading English Language Schools in Sri Lanka It serves as a language school to qualify the students with Pearson Test of English. Also it serves as a Test Centre for the Pearson Test of English.
Sudath Mohottala Managing Director of BLC says he is very happy about this award won purely for their dedication and determination. He further states that BLC is not a traditional English School unlike most of other institutions but a centre providing English education from the basic level for a better knowledge both spoken and grammar. 70% 0f the student population of BLC is from the government schools and Sudath Mohottala said even though these students are good in their writing and reading they are somewhat poor in their spoken language that BLC always would give the valiant effort of uplifting the spoken English upto a very satisfactory stage. Sudath Mohottala is a proud product of Ananda College and a Degree holder of National University of Irland.
Apart from the head office in Borella BLC maintains branches in Nugegoda.
