EDEX Mid-Year Expo to take centre stage on 7 & 8 Sep
View(s):Celebrating a legacy of over 15 years of empowering Sri Lanka’s youth to be globally competitive, EDEX, Sri Lanka’s largest education and careers exhibition brand, will once again take centre stage when its hosts EDEX Mid-Year Expo for the 7th consecutive year on 7th & 8th September 2019 at the SLECC.
Having successfully completed the main EDEX Expo in the beginning of the year, the organizers have currently got onboard many recognized Tertiary Educational, Vocational and Skills Development Institutes and Corporate Entities, offering aspiring Sri Lankan youth choices, options and opportunities in higher education, training, gainful employment and entrepreneurship. EDEX Mid-Year Expo is expected to house over 155 stalls represented by 75 exhibitors including representatives from universities in across the world.
In addition to the educational platform provided by EDEX, the Mid-Year Expo will also host the EDEX Job Fair, which provides an ideal opportunity for job seekers to discover employment opportunities, showcasing global employment trends, providing professional career guidance and resources leading to rewarding employment prospects.
Speaking on the Mid-Year Expo, Chairman of EDEX Mr Mahinda Galagedera said “EDEX Mid-Year Expo is an ideal opportunity for many youth as it is held immediately after the conclusion of the local G.C.E. A/L Examination and just after the release of the London O/L & A/L Examination results.
