Vietnam Buddhist Uni. VC conferred ‘Saddharma Keerthi Sri Darshana Visharada’

Vice Chancellor of the Vietnam Buddhist University Most Ven. Dr Thich Nhat Tu Maha Thera was recently conferred the honourary title of “Saddharma Keerthi Sri Darshana Visharada” by the Sri Kalyanee Samagree Dharma Maha Sangha Sabha of the Siam Chapter, Sri Lanka. The felicitation ceremony was held at the Parama Dhamma Chethiya Maha Pirivena, Ratmalana. The award was unanimously approved and conferred by Most Ven. Pimbure Sri Uditha Maha Thera and the Executive Committee of Sangha Sabha, in accordance with a proposal by Ven.Dr. Maitipe Wimalasara Maha Thera, Chief Incumbent and Director of the Parama Dhamma Chethiya Maha Pirivena. A host of foreign and local dignitaries, including Ruhuna University Chancellor Ven. Akuretiye Nanda Thera and Tran Tuan Dung, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Vietnam Embassy, graced the occasion.
