Royal shuttlers Team ‘Super A’ champs
View(s):Royal College Under-15 shuttlers became the champions of ‘Super A’ Division at the All-Island Inter-School Team Championship conducted by the Sri Lanka Schools Badminton Association worked off at the Richmond College Indoor Stadium in Galle.
These young shuttlers of Royal College gave a fine exhibition of high standard unbeaten shuttle work throughout the tournament. On their way to victory Royal College beat Trinity College Kandy, Dharmaraja College Kandy, Richmond College Galle and qualified for the ‘Super A’ Division.
Royal became champs beating St. Sebastian’s College, Moratuwa in the semi-finals and Prince of Wales’ College, Moratuwa in the finals.
