Bernard Soysa Memorial Award: SLAAS calls for applications
View(s):The Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Science (SLAAS) is inviting applications for the Bernard Soysa Memorial Award for Scientific Research – 2019.
Applications will be evaluated on the basis of relevance, originality, applicability and peer recognition. The research should have been carried out in Sri Lanka, in a discipline coming under the purview of SLAAS.
The award winner is expected to deliver the Bernad Soysa Memorial Oration in October 2019.
Application forms and guidelines for applicants can be obtained on any working day from the SLAAS office at ‘Vidya Mandiraya’, 120/10, Wijerama Mawatha, Colombo 7 or by sending a SASE to SLAAS with a reference to the oration.
The closing date for applications is Thursday, August 1, 2019.
