Universal College Lanka (UCL), Sri Lanka’s premier transnational higher education institute held its annual UCL Monash Graduation Ceremony on a grandeur manner at the Waters Edge recently.

Held for the third successive year, the Graduating Class of 2018/ 2019 comprised of 276 students who successfully completed the Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY) and the Monash College Diploma (MCD) at UCL. Among them was Azmir Buhar who secured the prestigious Monash Diplomas Global Award 2018/ 2019 for Engineering, outperforming fellow students across all Monash providers internationally. Three of them from this cohort dazzled with brilliance to gain entry for the first time to the Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine degree at Monash University. Overall, this Graduating Class of 2018/ 2019 achieved academic excellence to garner a record haul of 123 Monash Global Awards of Excellence during the last year.
