Army, MICH cueists dominate
View(s):Army and MICH cueists dominated proceedings of the Colombo District Snooker tournament with the former producing three winners and the latter two in the round robin matches played at the AAC and The Cue Club billiards table yesterday.
The Colombo District tournament is one of the three qualifying tournaments which is being conducted by the Billiards and Snooker Association with the aim of selecting the players who would qualify to contest at the forthcoming 67th National Snooker Championship scheduled to be worked off later this month.
The quarter finals of the Colombo District tournament is scheduled to be worked off on August 6 and 7 and the semi finals too are due to be played on August 7.
The final is slotted to be played on August 8 which will be played over nine frames in two sessions starting from 1.00 p.m.
