First Holy Communion celebration of St. Mary’s College Negombo

The first Holy Communion celebration of St. Mary’s College Negombo was held on the 20th of July at the St. Mary’s church Negombo, where 149 students of the school received the sacrament.
The grand mass was conciliated by 8 priests with the Rector of the school, Rev.Fr.Jayantha as the chief celebrant. The students who received communion came in procession after the mass; lead by the school western band.
They were given gifts and refreshments to mark the end of this joyful day of the school calendar. This event came into fruitfulness, with the immense effort and preparation of teachers with the help and support of the parents and the OBA.
