For the first time, two athletes from Sri Lanka, Andy Andrews and Keshini Vitharana were selected as the ‘Fittest in Sri Lanka’ to represent Sri Lanka at the 2019 Reebok CrossFit Games, held in Madison, Wisconsin, USA from August 1 to 4. Sponsored by Esna Luxury Tea, they competed alongside athletes from the world over which was a life enduring experience and set the stage for other athletes too to participate in the future. The energy in the stadium was exhilarating and the experience gained by them due to intense competition augurs well for development and conditioning our athletes for future events.
