Over 400 students who fulfilled the Edith Cowan University & Edith Cowan College requirements graduated in various disciplines such as Business, Science, IT, Engineering Studies etc.

This is yet aanother important milestone in the ACBT history of providing Australian higher education in Sri Lanka. Not only the sheer number of graduates, but also their outstanding achievements that were recognized at the ceremony were a testimony to the commitment of the college to keep its programmes and their delivery up to date with the global educational trends. As a result of its long-standing affiliation with Edith Cowan University, a leading university in Western Australia, ACBT always prioritizes on providing its student body with the best of knowledge and facilities to prepare them for international corporates and higher education.
In view of the changes in the world at large, ACBT has also changed its approach to teaching and learning. Due to ACBT’s strong and close collaboration with Edith Cowan College and Edith Cowan University, it benefits with access and exposure to most of the novel teaching and learning methods used by its Australian counterpart. The study materials, quality assured by ECC or ECU, are updated and uploaded on shared learning platforms for students to both prepare for and later revise what they learn at their own pace. Lecturers are closely monitored by ECU with regard to their teaching and academic development while constant training programmes are organized with academic trainers from the host university to ensure high quality academic delivery at ACBT. Thereby, lecturers at ACBT are trained to become facilitators of the learning process rather than teachers in a traditional sense of the word. ACBT students, on the other hand, are also constantly encouraged to incorporate new technology in their learning process to expedite and broaden the knowledge and skills acquisition while retaining their creativity, analytical skills and academic ethics. Their learning practices and assessments are a reflection of the international exposure and modern trends of higher education.
With such guidance and training to acquire knowledge and skills, ACBT graduates have obtained an invaluable entry qualification to the world of work and further learning. In addition, the degree certificate from the Edith Cowan University will no doubt assist them greatly in their leap towards professional and academic success in the world.
