Teleplay on a politician with dangerous background
Teledrama director Supun Ratnayake’s newest teleplay ‘Queen’ is now being telecast on Swarnavahini channel.
Suspenseful thriller, the teleplay is an attempt to expose the secret life of a politician who show off as a honest and dignified person but has a dangerous background. Parliamentarian Harshdeva Lihinikaduwa runs a torture camp and a female investigative journalist involves in a risky and dangerous mission to unravel a series of murders committed at this place.
The play stars Shalini Tharaka, Menaka Rajapaksa, Clitus Mendis, Dharmapriya Dias, Kumara Jayakantha, Deepani Silva, Gayathi Dias, Chameera Liyanage,Piyumi Sri Nayaka, Pujana Dandeniya, Dilukshi Weeraperuma and few more.
Camera handled by Kapila Sugath and Sugath Kumara, art director is Gamini S. Prathapage, make up by Thilanka Madhusara Gunaratne, editing Nuwan Sinhadipathy and the music director is Udara Samaraweera.
Kavinda Mallawarachci, Priyanatha Vidanapthirana and Nilanka Alexander have jointly written the screenplay and ‘Queen’ is produced by Janaka Sampath Thambarawilage.
