The Yala National Park will be closed in September and October for road repairs, tank renovation, maintenance work and insemination activities, the park’s warden said.

He said that while the Yala Park’s zone 1 and 2 would remain closed for two months, the Udawalawa Park’s zone 4 and 5 would be kept open for visitors.

The Yala Park would be reopened on November 1, he said.
