Your motherland is the best place to live, no matter what. You may leave for another country to settle feeling very happy but deep inside you will miss the place you call ‘Home’. The place I call home is Sri Lanka.
To me there is no better place to live other than this beautiful island filled with luxury and beauty. It is some peoples’ dream to go and live in a foreign country but when certain things happen, you really start missing home. Some people will regret leaving
Sri Lanka very badly.
For instance, where can you get a ‘Kimbula’ bun or a ‘Kola Kenda’?
Where else would you hear the loud noise of ‘Kottu’ being made? Where else would you see a motorcycle loaded with
newspapers?
Sri Lanka has food which is authentic to the country like ‘Pol Sambol’ and ‘Dhal curry’ and during the festive season you would get ‘Kevum’ and ‘Kokis’. Also where would you see a ‘Dansala’ except here?
Also I’m sure another item that some will miss is the comfy pair of slippers that you can get anywhere, for about 200 rupees. I’m sure another item people will miss is the tasty ‘Harischandra’ coffee. Also how could you not miss the taste of a yummy ‘Kandos’ chocolate?
Another very unique feature of Sri Lanka is the Sri Lankan smile and hospitality.
So with all this, how can you leave the ‘Paradise Isle’?

Plastic kills the Earth
Plastic is used for various purposes. Plastic can be seen in biscuit packets and various other types of packaging.
There are various situations when plastic can harm humans. For example, plastic can be seen in some food items.
In another situation, plastic can harm the environment in many ways. The burning of plastic causes air pollution and
sicknesses can occur, such as cough, lung cancer, asthma etc.
People throw plastic to the environment and then rivers, lakes, waterfalls, and waterways get polluted and disease can occur such as kidney failure etc. At present because of air pollution animals can die because of the smoke. The same way fish and other animals that come to drink water can also die because of water pollution.
We should reduce using plastic and save our environment. If the environment is destroyed no human or animal will be able to live on this earth. So because of that we should all keep in mind that plastic can kill the earth and we must save the environment.
