Shakthi excels at Convocation of University of Moratuwa

Shakthi Yasas Weerasinghe of the Faculty of Information Technology has been awarded Bachelor of Science Honours (Information Technology) degree at the General Convocation of the University of Moratuwa held on 04th September 2019.
He has been adjudged as the Most Outstanding Undergraduate of the Faculty of Information Technology being the highest scorer of GPA and Securing a First Class Pass. He has become the First in Order of Merit in his batch of more than 300 students and the highest scorer of his faculty for the Vidhyajyothi Professor Jayantha Wijesekara Award. For his outstanding performance, he was awarded the Gold Medal donated by Professor Priyantha Wijethunga. Shakthi had also delivered the Valedictorian Speech at the General Convocation.
He is a proud product of Ananda College Colombo and the elder son of Air Vice Marshal Priyantha Weerasinghe and Mrs Bernadine Weerasinghe. He had excelled in many fields at the University of Moratuwa and continued to serve the nation as a Software Engineer.
