The guiding hands behind your Australian Education…
View(s):The interview conducted with Mrs Osanthi Watawana, Manager – International Operations, Jeewa Australian Education.
The Jeewa Education Institute has been serving with the purpose of fulfilling the education needs of children wants to pursue higher studies in Australia. The institute which was started by Mrs. Sujeewa Fernando in 2003 has been well established in the last fifteen years while gaining the trust of many.
The entire Jeewa process includes consulting with the universities to meet the requirements of the students by helping them to choose the most suitable study destination that suite their desired academic field and the financial capability. From the placement at the university to the getting of the visa is done in Sri Lanka.
But the process doesn’t stop there. The institute supports the students and wouldn’t let a student go by themselves but supports them through the process of finding accommodation, and communicating with the university to sort out any difficulty the student faces and finds solutions.
For students if they want to change their course within the requirements and to find a new provider for the relevant course, Jeewa Australian offices are there to support them. Basically from the start of their higher education till they graduate up until the student acquires the post study work visa the Jeewa education Institutes becomes the shadows behind them.
Jeewa counsellors are well trained and with more than 10 years’ experience. This will enable them to provide correct information and proper guidance for the prospective students who are seeking Jeewa support. The importance of attending the Jeewa Education Roadshow is, that the participants can get firsthand information directly from the institute’s representatives.
This is the 6th consecutive Jeewa Australian Education Roadshow which is taking place in September. The road show is done twice a year and the September road show will be held on two locations; Colombo and Kandy. On the 14th of December the road show will take place at the Queen’s Hotel Kandy which follows the road show at Kingsbury Colombo on the 15th.
The purpose of this road show is to give the student the experience and the proper genuine information from the university itself. Where they get to meet and get the information and compare to choose the most suitable. They are given the chance to directly question, provoke and get the information they require from more than 34 universities. When they meet the representative of a particular university they get to know the in and outs about the university and the programmes. And that is more than what the institute can provide in a short meeting.
The special focus of the road show is on the London A/L students and the students who have just finished their local A/Ls. This is also a good opportunity for the parents who plan a secure future for their children. This helps to get an idea when deciding, to understand what is happening and to get a better ground about things. With the universities that are ranked globally with a globally recognized qualification, the students are eligible to find a job where ever you go.
At the event the students are also given a chance to meet the partner organizations which include British council for IELTS, Nawaloka College of Higher Studies and Wisdom Higher Education for pathway programmes and professional qualifications as well as the service partner, Potensure who looks after the accommodation and everything else in Australia. The participants will get a chance to receive special scholarships from universities according to their eligibility and interest, with the gifts, which they won’t able to secure in another event. Free registration for IELTS, educating on the visa sessions as well as the presentations that helps you in your study in Australia are happening alongside.
With the proper guidance the students from the very beginning the students might not have trouble in succeeding. With the plethora of pathways the students are not stuck in the main stream subjects but there are a lot of trade courses and the child won’t even realize the paths that are available till they come to an event of this kind.
With the success that came through the previous expos with a good number of participants, Jeewa has no doubt that this also be a successful event with massive turnover.
