Holy Cross Gampaha shuttlers show their prowess
View(s):Having won six championships out of nine events and 1st runner-up in five events out of nine, Holy Cross College, Gampaha shuttlers showed their prowess at the Junior National Badminton Championship 2019 (Gampaha Zone). Organised by the Sri Lanka Badminton Association, the Gampaha Zonal Tournament came to a close at the Sumedha College Indoor Stadium, Gampaha recently.
The Holy Cross lasses won championships in Under 13 Doubles, Under 15 Singles, Under 15 Doubles, Under 17 Singles and Doubles and Under 19 Doubles events.
They ended as runners-up in Under 13 Doubles, Under 15 Singles and Doubles Under 17 and Under 19 Single events – LR
