No decent Quarters for Rural School Staff
View(s):Several residential quarters of Tunkama MV, Embilipitiya, are in dilapidated condition. The tutorial staff of about 40 teachers, attend to about 1500 students in this school. Most of the teachers are from distant areas and a majority of them reside in Embilipitiya, due to the lack of quarters.The existing quarters have not been used for about 2 years, due to the lack of repairs, and the teachers’ requests to the authorities to renovate them, had fallen on deaf ears.
