A sing-a -long to help the Oblate Missions
View(s):Next Saturday, September 21 from 7 p.m onwards at the Grand Ballroom, Galadari Hotel, is an exciting sing-a-long with Anno Domini, Rukshan, Yohan & Honourine and Yasmin with Trishma as MC.
The artistes are all getting together to help raise funds for the Oblate Missions which will be used to help the needy irrespective of faith and ethnicity.
The office of the Oblate Missions was established in January 2014 at Fatima Church, Maradana. The missions now operate in Kuchchaveli, Padaviya, Medawachchiya, Puthanagama, Anuradhapura, Embilipitiya, Buttala and works with the Lak-ri-vi Movement that works with over 7,000 children of all races and religions in all parts of the country. Many are also helped on an ad hoc basis.
The missions face much difficulty in reaching out further due to very limited resources. Proceeds from this programme will be for the development of the mission’s projects.
