HNB garners top honours at CMA Integrated Reporting Awards
View(s):HNB has once again delivered a remarkable performance at the recently concluded Excellence in Integrated Reporting Awards 2019 – being ranked among the Ten Best Integrated Reports for 2019.

Organised by the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA), the awards featured participation from a wide variety of listed and unlisted companies including state-owned enterprises and small and medium enterprises (SME).
“HNB’s performance at the CMA Integrated Reporting Awards 2019 is representative of the total commitment with which we approach our responsibility to transparently and accurately report on the bank’s performance to our valued stakeholders. While a significant amount of resources and efforts are required to maintain these standards, such a relationship is fundamental to maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance. Moving forward the bank will continue to further refine its reporting protocols in order to maintain and enhance the quality engagement in order to ensure accountability at all times,” HNB Chief Financial Officer, Anusha Gallage said in a media release issued by the bank..
Over the past year, the bank has received continuous praise for its pioneering initiatives across the entire spectrum of its operations. Notably, over the recent past, HNB was also adjudged ‘Best Managed Bank in Sri Lanka’ by the prestigious Asian Banker Magazine while the Bank’s Managing Director/CEO, Jonathan Alles was also conferred with Asian Banker ‘CEO Leadership Achievement’ award – both of which are only given out every three years.
