Inauguration of the 3rd annual academic sessions of the Neurosurgeons’ Association

The third annual academic sessions of the Neurosurgeons’ Asso-ciation of Sri Lanka was inaugurated last evening at the Marino Beach Hotel Colombo. The sessions continue for the second day today.
The association’s president, Consultant Neurosurgeon Dr Maheshi Wijerathne, in a message to mark the event noted that the association has initiated various measures to increase the number of neurosurgeons and facilities related to the field in Sri Lanka.
The chief guest of the event was Major General (Dr) Sanjeewa Munasinghe, Senior Consultant Radiologist of the Army Hospital and the guest of honour was Dr Kanishka Indraratna, Senior Consultant anaesthesiologist, Sri Jayewardenepura Hospital.
