The 2018 Annual Awards Day of Badiuddin Mahmud Girls’ College Kandy was held on September 5, at the School Auditorium, with past pupil Dr. (Ms) Rizana Branudeen Health Promoter & Healthcare Trainer, National Health Service, Primary Care, UK, as the Chief Guest.
Addressing the gathering, Dr.( Ms ) Branudeen said the school played a major role in her success, as the support and encouragement from the school was immense. She also mentioned that the name of a school doesn’t matter, what matters is the effort you put in to achieve success. She said she is proud to be a Mahmudian, and that, Education is very important for a girl, specially Muslim girls.
