International Conference on Organisational Excellence and Lean Six Sigma
View(s):The 2nd International Conference on Organisational Excellence and Lean Six Sigma and the 2nd SSMI Graduation Ceremony, organised by Dr. Mikel J. Harry of the Six Sigma Management Institute Asia (SSMI Asia), is scheduled to be held on October 30 at the Grand Ballroom, Waters Edge, Colombo.
This event is expected to see the participation of over 400+ senior managers and directors, among others, passionate about achieving ‘Velocity of Value’ with the use of organisational excellence and Lean Six Sigma practices, the organisers said in a media release.
The Dr. Mikel J Harry Six Sigma Management Institute Asia was established in 2016 as the APAC, Middle East and Africa office of the world-renowned Six Sigma Management Institute, US by the ‘Principal Architect of Six Sigma,’ Prof. Mikel J Harry and his disciple, Dumidu Ranaweera, who is popularly referred to as ‘the Sri Lankan Guru of Lean Six Sigma,’ with the aim of spreading Lean and Six Sigma in the region.
The company was awarded as Asia’s Best Lean Six Sigma Training and Consulting organisation by Asia’s Training and Development Excellence Awards in Singapore in August 2019 and as Sri Lanka’s Best Lean Six Sigma Training and Consulting company at the Sri Lanka Quality Leadership Awards 2019.
