The 9th annual Study Adelaide International Student Awards were held at the Government House of South Australia. His Excellency the Honourable Hieu Van Le AC, Governor of South Australia, presented awards to the winners in eleven categories including the coveted International Student of the Year.
Against strong competition, students from 13 countries including Sri Lanka, India, Nepal, Malaysia, China, Singapore, Vietnam, Colombia and Italy were recognised for their outstanding achievements during their time in South Australia.
Edlocate alumni Sulakshana Jayasekera won the Academic Excellence – Undergraduate category award for her exceptional performance.
Sulakshana is currently following Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Business (Economics, Finance and Trade) @ University of South Australia. She also received 50% Vice Chancellor International Scholarship from UniSA for her exceptional performance for A/L and she is a past student of Bishop’s College.
