Terminator Returns
View(s):The latest of the action thriller ‘Terminator’ starring Arnold Schwarzenegger returning to his popular character, T-800 “Terminator”, ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’ is now being screened in theatres in Colombo.
To a story by James Cameron, Charles Eglee, Josh Friedman, Goyer and Rhodes, the sixth installment in the Terminator franchise is directed by Tim Miller.
It also stars Linda Hamilton returning to her role Sarah Connor after 28 years and Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna and Diego Boneta for new roles.
More than two decades have passed since Sarah Connor prevented Judgment Day, changed the future, and re-wrote the fate of the human race.
Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes) is living a simple life in Mexico City with her brother (Diego Boneta) and father when a highly advanced and deadly new Terminator – a Rev-9 (Gabriel Luna) – travels back through time to hunt and kill her. Dani’s survival depends on her joining forces with two warriors: Grace (Mackenzie Davis), an enhanced super-soldier from the future, and a battle-hardened Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton). As the Rev-9 ruthlessly destroys everything and everyone in its path on the hunt for Dani, the three are led to a T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger) from Sarah’s past that may be their last best hope.
Started with The Terminator in 1984, the earlier instalments included Terminator 2: Judgment Day in 1991, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines in 2003, Terminator Salvation in 2009 and Terminator Genisys in 2015.

Released on November 1, in line with the worldwide release, the film is now being screened at Colombo City Centre, Scope Cinemas and Liberty Cinema.
