The inaugural Cricket Big Match of the Sussex College Network was played at Police Park in Kandy between Sussex Kandy and Sussex Galle. Winning the toss, Sussex Kandy elected to bat. Sussex Kandy beat Sussex Galle by 77 runs and won the K.A Sunil Jayatissa Challenge Trophy. Pulasthi Dissanayake of Sussex Kandy was adjudged the man of the match.
