Softlogic Finance appoints Aaron Russell-Davison new Chairman
View(s):Softlogic Finance PLC one of the country’s leading financial services firms, has appointed Aaron Russell-Davison as its new Chairman, effective from October 24, succeeding Ashok Pathirage who resigned as Chairman of the Board of the Company after serving the regulatory maximum period of nine years.

Mr Russell-Davison brings a wealth of experience and background to Softlogic Finance with over 20years experience in Global Financial Markets having previously worked for Standard Chartered Bank Singapore as the Global Head of Debt Capital Markets.
“My elevation to the post of Chairman is part of Softlogic Finance’s vital shift towards a fresh phase of growth and development. This recent drive has been characterised by a number of new initiatives that include the streamlining and digitisation of its business operations in an effort to move towards a prominent position in the market,” said Mr. Russell-Davison in a media release issued by the company.
Mr Russell-Davison previously held the post of Deputy Chairman of Softlogic Finance after coming aboard in 2017 and currently serves as a Non-Executive Director at Softlogic Holdings PLC and Softlogic Capital PLC and a Non-Executive Independent Director at Amana Bank PLC.
