‘The Last Circus’ a Marvelous Halloween Party organized by ANC Business Club Students
View(s):Oct 31st 2019, ANC students celebrated the scariest night of the year Halloween, under the theme ‘The Last Circus’ at Tribe Colombo. Brilliant, bizarre, dazzling and spooky to the theme, with decorations to match and over 200 students from the U.S programs, Australian programmes and Advanced Diploma programmes across all ANC branch campuses attended the event, as they dressed the part as witches, ghosts and monsters, recreating that chilling sensation at the ANC annual Halloween party.
ANC Business Club students were the chief organizers of the Halloween party. The President of the Business Club, Joseph Alegakone was beaming with delight “Tickets were all sold out and the Halloween party was a resounding success! We started planning the event one month in advance and we even reached out to vendors for sponsorships, visited many venues and coordinated across the board.
We presented the perfect mix of entertainment, music from Tribe DJ, competitions for best dress costumes, delicious delectable and lots of dancing with colleagues made it a truly remarkable event’.
“Every student should organize an event of this kind, it was an amazing learning experience” says Joseph who majors in International Business Management from Northwood University Degree Completion Programme.
ANC students are part of many clubs and societies which offer the opportunity to build on essential skills outside of the academic classroom; leadership, communication, team work and execution are learnt through these activities of planning university events, engaging in community service that expands student’s knowledge and prepares them for the real world.
