The Signature Stylish Marketer 2019

The Department of Marketing Management of University of Kelaniya (DMM) is one of the most prominent departments in the Sri Lankan university system.

In their relatively young age they have marked their name with some unique and innovative initiations in the education industry.

They are the first academic department of a university to obtain ISO 9001:2015 certification for their commitment to quality. While succeeding in rich and rigorous knowledge creation and dissemination, DMM has exert their efforts in developing the soft skills of their undergraduates too.

Stylish Marketer inter university fashion show is one such step taken by the DMM in the year 2009 and its 10th episode will be unveiled this year.

Today, Stylish Marketer is considered as the biggest event organised by an undergraduates of a state university in terms of its scale, scope and the budget.

Year by year the event has emerged to an astonishing level, and it has paved the way to several talented individuals to enter in to the fashion industry as models or designers.  With the visionary guidance given by the academic staff, the advices given by the Signature brand team, panel of experts of the fashion industry and commitments made by students the 10th Signature Stylish Marketer grandeur is to be staged on 21st of November, 2019.

An event of this magnitude is made a reality through the continuous support of the sponsors and well-wishers. Signature, one of the undisputed mass youth clothing brand in the Sri Lankan fashion industry has been the official title partner (Main Sponsor) for the Stylish Marketer for four consecutive years.

The brand “Signature”, has achieved remarkable milestones over the years, celebrating over two decades in the clothing industry. Signature “The Achievers Choice” has excelled in inspiring the Youth of Sri Lanka with its affordable and quality fashionable clothing in the market.

By partnering with DMM, Signature brand intends to enhance personal grooming and dressing etiquettes of the university undergraduates.

A series of workshops on grooming and dressing etiquette were conducted in the university, which were personally coordinated by the Managing Director of Hameedia Group, Mr.Fouzul Hameed. These workshops added value to the undergraduates in many ways, several students were sponsored with exciting personal grooming packages during the session.

In the last workshop conducted Mr. Sageesha Liyanage was able to win a complimentary suit for his personality and confidence. The long lasting partnership of Stylish Marketer of DMM with Signature has been instrumental in empowering and grooming the local university students as they are the future leaders of the nation.
