Shevon Daniel hit an impressive half century–84 to lead Western Province North to a comfortable 69-run win on Duckworth/Lewis over North Western Province to clinch the Under 15 Prima Champions Cup title at the R. Premadasa Stadium yesterday.
Shevon’s knock helped Western Province North taking first lease of the wicket to make a modest score of 249. North Western Province in their run chase were on 100 for 6 having faced 25 overs when rain put stoppage to the proceedings which ensured an easy win for Western Province North.
