Denuja Chamuditha, bowling left-arm leg-spin captured a match bag of 10 wickets to help Sri Devananda College, Ambalangoda register a first innings win over Upananda College, Galle in the Under-13 Division III cricket encounter played at the Upananda ground.
Batting first, Sri Devananda posted a first innings score of 186 with Malith Pamudaya (46) and Sandalu Rashmika (46 not out) topping the score card. Uvindu Chamuditha captured three wickets.
Denuja grabbed eight wickets conceding just five runs to restrict Upananda College to a first innings score of 42 and captured two more wickets after the home team were asked to follow on.
