Vidura College Kalutara Annual Concert “Ninnada” a big success

Vidura College Kalutara branch held this year their Annual Concert titled “Ninnada” at Dodangoda secretariat on 4th December 2019 with the presence of Professor Kolitha Banu Dissanayake faculty of Music University of Dramatic Art as chief guest.
The chairman Dr.Ranjith Cabral, Mr.Sumanasekara, Group Principal, Kanchana Dassanayake Principal Kalutara branch, Deputy Principal Main school Mrs. Upeka Weerasinghe, Vice Principals of main schools and branch schools, parents and students were present at the occasion.
This event provided students with wonderful opportunity for them to showcase their budding talent on the stage.
From the nursery level upwards, all the students presented various performances displaying their aesthetic talents in the glamorous backdrop of light and colour. The whole event had a beautiful flow with songs, dances and instrumental play.
Parents of the students who participated in the concert to witness their children’s talents were extremely happy to express their gratitude to teachers who have made great effort to train and guide them. This event provided ample proof that Vidura College is more than just a school providing basic education.
They aim to develop skills in students in a religious environment with a blend of our cultural heritage.
Vidura College pays due attention to the co-curricular education as well, since they believe that the proper growth of the students depends not only on knowledge, but also on the balanced nurturing of a multiple of physical, aesthetic and cultural and social skills.
Further, Principal Kanchana Dassanayake extends her sincere thanks to everyone who helped and contributed to make this event a success.
